Edwin Jagger have been making razors for over two decades - their razors combine style with substance, offering one of the most solid shaves around. The DE86 is no exception, allowing a close, comfortable double edge shave - the way it should be.

Unscrew the handle and insert the double edge blade of your choice then screw the handle back, being careful not to overtighten. Use hot water and shaving cream or soap to whip up a rich lather, ideally using a shaving brush. Lather your face up, and you're ready to shave. Hold the razor blade at a 30 degree angle to your face, then make small, short passes. Unlike cartridge razors, you don't need to apply pressure - in fact, this is to be avoided. Let the weight of the handle do the work. Shave with the grain, rinse the razor regularly and reapply lather before making another pass.
